Mark & Deacon George get all the candles lit (and there were lots of them)
The creche is empty...for now
While the congregation sings "Once in Royal David's City, the Procession of Children to the Creche begins
The children carry up all the animals, Kings, shepherds, and Holy Family
And the youngest child (it was Addie this year) lays the Baby Jesus in the manger
Janet & Kendall guide the children
And the creche is now full!
Fr. Mike welcomes everyone to this wonderful celebration
The choir did an amazing rendition of "The Star Carol"
Deacon George and Mark get the table set for the Holy Eucharist. See the hymn board? Yep, we sang ALL the verses to all those songs!
Elizabeth waits for the offering to be brought forward
Fr. Mike invites everyone to the Lord's Table with "this is not the Episcopal Church's Supper, but the Lord's Supper. All baptised Christians are welcome to partake".
A very full church!
Beautiful decorations, thanks to the Altar Guild and the talented hands at Flowerama.
The amaryllis bloomed just in time!
Candlelight, flowers, and gleaming silver make a lovely combination.
