Middler’s Service Project
Do you have empty pill bottles?
Don’t know where to recycle them?
In developing countries, medicines—when actually obtainable—are often dispensed into hands, pockets, leaves or any other available container.
Matthew 25 Ministries accepts donations of empty pill bottles to help improve health care quality in developing nations. These clean, unlabeled pill bottles help the poorest of the poor: Medicine can be distributed in sterile containers. Pill bottles that are not appropriate for shipping are recycled for cash.
**This plastic recycling program also keeps thousands of bottles out of landfills each year.**
The Middler’s Class has box in the Narthex for this on-going project. Just bring your empty pill bottles (prescription AND over-the-counter, large and small, with and without child-proof caps), and they will take it from there!
THANK YOU!
