St. Mark’s 2003 softball season has now come to a close with our second loss in the playoffs to that ever-formidable Faith Hill team. Listed below are the players’ and team’s final batting averages thanks to our ever illustrious and industrious co-manager, John Webster! Also many thanks to our other co-manager, Tracy Hall, who has led us to finish in second place in the regular season. And, thanks to both managers for helping to arrange, once again, a very successful Annual Softball Banquet held at our usual Grub Steak II venue. (Many thanks for the great T-Shirts and those ever so wonderful speeches, Tracy!) Trophies this year included:

Also, one final note of sadness. Vince Shields, longtime player, coach, and league commissioner, unexpectedly passed away this summer. He will be sorely missed by all of his fellow teammates and friends.
