BISHOP BREIDENTHAL RETURNING TO ST. MARK’S

 

 

This Sunday, October 14, Bishop Tom Breidenthal will return to St. Mark’s.  This is, among other things, an opportunity for those who would like to be confirmed or formally received into the Episcopal Church.

 

The rite is simple.  The entire congregation renews their baptismal promises, and then those to be confirmed or received come forward.  The words used are on page 418 of The Book of Common Prayer.

Bishop Breidenthal has requested that the loose plate collection next Sunday be sent to the Diocese, earmarked for the Procter Camp Scholarship Fund.  If you would like to donate by check, please make it payable to the Diocese of Southern Ohio.  Future campers will thank you!
