The very first Flower Sunday was held on April 19, 1964; for the next 31 years, sometimes it was held on Mother’s Day, and sometimes in April. Since 1996, it’s been our tradition to decorate our flowering cross on Mother’s Day.
Everyone is invited to bring a flower to church, which we use to make our flowering cross. It’s also the time for our annual parish portrait, so be sure to wear your Sunday best!
We will also use this service as
an opportunity to take our
Fifth Annual PARISH PORTRAIT.
So come dressed in your best
and be a part of
