It’s Kairos Cookie Time Again!

The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to bring Christ’s love and forgiveness to all incarcerated individuals, their families and those who work with them, and to assist in the transition of becoming a productive citizen.

For several years, St. Mark’s has supported the work of the Kairos by providing many dozens of cookies for the Rev. George Brewer, the Pastor of Eastmont UMC, to take to Lebanon Correctional Institution (LCI) for Kairos weekends. Cookies need to be turned in on Sunday, March 8 or no later than Tuesday, March 10. Bags and instructions for the cookies are available in the  Office or on the Ushers’ Table.

UPDATE: March 15:  Thanks to everyone who baked cookies for the latest Kairos weekend.  Despite the weather,

we were able to donate 24 dozen cookies!
