To all clergy and laity:
During the time I have been serving as your bishop, I have tried to keep in regular touch via Zoom calls. Next week will be my last calls before stepping away from this position. They have been set for clergy and laity combined, and will take place on May 19 at 1 p.m. and May 20 at 10 a.m. Any clergy or lay person can register for either call by clicking on the links below.
The topic for our last call is Compassion Fatigue. I will have some resources to share regarding how we can be supportive as we re-engage ministry post-COVID and how we, as pastoral caretakers, can cope with issues raised during the past year. I hope in our discussion time those folks on the call will share how they and their church are handling life at this time. It will also be a time to allow people from all corners of the diocese to touch base with one another. I hope to see many of you on the Zoom screen next week.
