EASTER SERVICE and MORE!

More than 70 people came to the Easter Sunday service, wearing masks and staying safely distanced (pews were roped off, there were chairs in the back of the church, the windows were removed between the nave and the narthex to make the narthex pews available, and the Bride’s Room was open). Thanks to Music Director Donna Larsen for the great Easter hymns, Laura Leach for the the lovely solos, and to trumpeter Ben Knab for adding that “wow!” factor to the prelude and postlude.

Thanks also to Carol Nancarrow for hosting our outdoor Coffee Hour, and to Jenna Walch for arranging the Easter Egg Hunt.

WHAT THE WORLD NEEDS NOW…
Rowena ended her Easter sermon with
the lyrics from Jackie DeShannon’s song:
sung by Dionne Warwick (1966)

What the world needs now is love, sweet love
It’s the only thing that there’s just too little of
What the world needs now is love, sweet love
No not just for some, but for everyone.

Wishing everyone a blessed Easter season!
